Postieri XYZ to Mentor at the 10th CASSINI Hackathon in Pristina
Postieri XYZ joins the 10th CASSINI Hackathon in Pristina as technical mentors, helping teams build consumer products with EU Copernicus and Galileo space data.

We at Postieri XYZ are participating as technical mentors in the 10th CASSINI Hackathon: EU Space for Consumer Experience, taking place this weekend at RADIX in Pristina.
Our engineering team will be on-site to help guide participating teams as they transform raw European satellite data into functional web and mobile applications.
What is the CASSINI Hackathon?
The CASSINI Hackathon series is a European Union initiative connecting satellite data with commercial and consumer software. This 10th edition challenges participants to leverage data from Copernicus (Earth observation), Galileo, and EGNOS (satellite positioning) to solve concrete consumer challenges.
The hackathon focuses on three primary tracks:
- Redefining Travel: Smart, sustainable, and data-informed tourism tools.
- Innovating in Sports & Fitness: Location and observation data applied to athletic training, outdoor routes, and event engagement.
- Gaming & Entertainment: Interactive digital experiences and AR applications powered by real-time satellite telemetry.
Our Focus as Technical Mentors
At Postieri XYZ, our daily engineering work revolves around turning complex data feeds and APIs into fast, intuitive web platforms and mobile applications.
During the 48-hour hackathon, we will support teams across four key areas:
- Technical Architecture: Designing robust data pipelines to fetch and render Copernicus and Galileo data without performance bottlenecks.
- Product Validation: Narrowing down feature scope to ensure teams build a clear, usable MVP within the 48-hour limit.
- Frontend & UX Design: Ensuring applications are responsive, accessible, and fast on mobile devices.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Helping teams formulate a sustainable commercial model for their prototype after the competition.
Supporting Kosovo's Engineering Ecosystem
Kosovo has a vibrant and fast-growing software community. Initiatives like the CASSINI Hackathon provide an invaluable platform for local engineers, designers, and students to build solutions benchmarked against European standards.
We look forward to working alongside the teams at RADIX this weekend and seeing what they build.
